Some updates from SpotPay
Update on Apple Pay for SpotPay Calypso cards
We want to share an update regarding Apple Pay support for SpotPay Calypso cards.
Starting March 30, SpotPay cards issued for residents of certain countries will no longer be eligible to be added to Apple Pay. This is due to regional requirements that has nothing to do with SpotPay.
Cards already added to Apple Pay before March 30th will continue to work and Android is not affected.
🔄 What’s changing (for new cards only)
- After March 30, new cards issued to iPhone users in some countries will not be able to be added to Apple Pay
- For affected users, we’ll begin rolling out physical SpotPay cards so you can continue spending without interruption
✅ What’s not changing
- Cards already added to Apple Pay will continue to work as normal
- Android users are not affected — Google Pay remains fully supported
- Your SpotPay account, balance, and transfers are all unchanged
🌍 For dual residents or international users
Apple Pay availability is determined by country. If you’re a dual citizen or resident of a supported country, reach out to SpotPay Support — we may be able to issue a card that works with Apple Pay.
